Hoosier Action's 2018 political program will be unprecedented in Southern Indiana, bringing thousands of everyday Hoosiers together through door-knocking, phone-banking and texting, house meetings, and more -- to make sure our priorities are at the center of the 2018 federal and state legislative races.
Join Hoosier Action members as we tell our stories, explain our priorities, and ask questions of the candidates running to represent us in the US House.
Confirmed participants: Liz Watson, Dan Canon, Robert Chatlos
Invited participants: Rep. Trey Hollingsworth, Tom Pappas
The forum will take place at Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington, in Lamkin Hall.
Hoosier Action is about to take a momentous step forward in our fight for The Indiana We Deserve, and we hope you'll join us.
On Saturday, October 21, members from across the region will be coming together from 1-4PM for a Values Summit.
At the Summit, we will:
- Formalize our values declaration and develop our policy platform, which will form the core of our political work going forward
- Launch our House Meeting program, aimed at significantly growing our membership and political strength, by training attendees on how to host their own House Meeting
- Set in motion the build-up to our bold, ambitious electoral program in 2018
The Summit will be a vital stepping stone on the way toward an Indiana where all Hoosiers enjoy dignity and freedom -- you won't want to miss it.
Childcare and transportation assistance are available, upon request.
NOTE: We start on time, end on time, and urge you to stay for the entire program.
Hoosier Action, Indivisible IN-09 and NOW Monroe County will be confronting Sen. Young and distributing handbills and collecting signatures from Ivy Tech students, who will be attending their first day of classes on the day of the luncheon.
